There are bad books as well as good books. Good books not only impact good results but also good means in human society that needs honesty, hard work, love, non-violence, and peace. We live in the world of survival of the fittest, where wealth is motivation and means do not matter. People in general have become suspicious of others. My neighbor told me that she has difficulty in trusting the hospitals for her treatment. She also has problem of trusting the school teachers where she sends her children to study. Fear of getting cheated and deceived is always lurking in our mind. Corruption, violence, and injustice fill the daily news. What has happened to the moral fabrics of our society? Where are the good books that transform our inner being? We need good books made available to everyone through printed media, radio web, or internet so as to influence good moral transformation in our human society for the good of posterity. This is our vision. We need your partnership and prayers in serving our region.

The theme of this Seminar is: “The Art of Crafting a Biblical Sermon and the Biblical Counseling.”  

 

The aim of this Seminar is to equip, encourage and empower Pastors and Leaders who are currently engaged in Preaching and Counseling ministries.

17th Writers' Workshop, Ranchi:

We praise God for the success of 17th Writers' Workshop, which was organized by Good Books Educational Trust, Ranchi from 31st October to 3rd November 2016 at Social Development Center (SDC), Purulia Road, Ranchi.

 

Mr. Shishir Tudu, Mr. Walter Bhengra and Miss Jacinta Kerketta were the Resource Persons. The goal of the Workshop was to train and encourage the thriving young writers to excel in the art of creative writing and be a channel of blessing in transforming the minds of people in the society.

A Pastors and Leaders Training Program for church leaders was organized in SDC Purulia Road, Ranchi, Jharkhand, by Good Books Educational Trust from 30th November to 3rd December, 2015. In this Training Program 104 pastors and leaders participated from different churches of Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

Production Team Training program organized by GBET

We praise God for the Production Team Training program organized by GBET at Gaweylon Center, Dehradun from 17th to 22nd August 2015. This training aimed at teaching the producers to produce effective programs. Mr. Christopher Singh, Training Director, Radio Worldwide, was the Resource Person. He taught the team members well and tried to build a relationship with them which would carry on even after the training period. The Training itself was very beneficial and helpful for producing messages in formats which cater to today’s listeners.

Youth Seminar at Mahuatoli village

We are also thankful to the Lord Almighty for His grace to provide an opportunity to give testimony in a Youth Seminar at Mahuatoli village in Jashpur (CG). This Seminar was organized for the youth of Jashpur and Ichkela parish of Gossner Evangelical Lutheran Church. We praise God for the successful visit in this neighbouring state of Jharkhand.

We praise God that GBET Follow up team participated in a Youth Seminar organized by Gossner Evangelical Lutheran Church at Chitrakota, about 25 km from Ranchi town on 22nd May 2015. This was the very good time to share the Gospel among the youth. The theme of the Seminar was: Ecclesiastes 11:9. We introduced them about the media ministry of Good Books Educational Trust.

Listeners Meet in Pakur 14th April 2015

We praise God that we were able to organize a one day Listener's meet in Pakur, on the 14th of April 2015. In answer to our prayers, everyone we had expected was able to attend and they arrived safely. The meeting proved beneficial for the listeners. Many have shown their interest in the Hindi radio program and in the ministry of Good Books, some have taken membership of 'Masihi Ahwan' our Hindi Monthly Magazine.
